My cats found their way into the art before I noticed.

Dreamy Kitty is the collection I first made when I started making my own art. At the time I just thought, wow, these are so cool. Looking at them now, I think they were my cats turning up in my work. They were new in my life then. They walked in without me planning it.

These are those first designs made again, with more care in them than I had to give the first time.

PUTTING THEM UP

  1. Buy, then download the zip from the page you land on
  2. Unzip it
  3. On a Mac, open System Settings, then Wallpaper, then Add Photo. On Windows, right click the image and choose Set as desktop background
  4. On a TV, load them onto a USB stick, or use your TV's photo or art app
  5. The videos play anywhere. Loop one on a screen, or set it as a live wallpaper

The art is 16:9, the shape of most computer screens and TVs. On a screen with a different shape, it will crop or sit with a border.

WHY I MADE IT

These were some of the first pieces I ever made for myself. I was not building a collection. I was just seeing what would come out.

What came out was cats. Cats in kimonos, cats with swords, cats standing on still water under a sky that goes on forever. Some of them are quiet. One of them is asleep on a table in the sun with a bell under his chin.

My cats were new in the house then, and I think they walked into the work the same way they walk into every room. I did not decide it. I only noticed it later.

So I made them again. Same ideas, more care, and this time one of them dances.

USING THEM

Put them on every screen you own. Send one to someone who would like it. The only thing I ask is that you do not sell the files or pass them off as your own. Same terms whether you paid for a piece or I gave it to you.

A finished AI-assisted image can look like everyone else's. The artist's vision is always different.

An artist that is inspired and directs his AI Assistant. I work with AI to create my vision and I am the Hawaiian that brings the inspiration to the creation.
