The short answer. I make original digital art of Kuwait, sized for the Samsung Frame and any 4K TV, for your desktop, and for your phone. Two full collections, forty-nine pieces between them, and a free set of seven phone pieces when you join ʻOhana. I am Hawaiian. Kuwait is home. Both of those are true at the same time, and this art is me saying so out loud.
Kuwait Towers art for Samsung Frame TV
Kuwait Towers is the first piece in Dreamy Kuwait and the one most people put up first. The collection is twenty-five places. The ones you know: the Towers, the Water Towers, Liberation Tower, Seif Palace, the Grand Mosque, Souq Al-Mubarakiya, Al Shaheed Park, the Avenues, Souq Sharq, Green Island. The ones you only know if you live here: Friday Market, the fish market with the blue tile, Entertainment City the way it looked in the nineties, the old Aqua Park beside the Towers, the Mirror House, Hungry Bunny. And two that are not places at all. Pearl divers going over the side of a dhow, and a racing camel walked out past the majlis.
Kuwaiti heritage art: Sadu, pearl diving, Al Ardah, as a digital download
Dreamy Kuwaiti Culture is twenty-four pieces of what people did and still do here. Sadu weaving. The pearl diving dasha leaving harbour, and the divers under the water. Al Ardah with the swords. Samri, the men's and the women's. Girgian. Flying kites. Camping in the desert, dinner in the desert, a caravan at night. A diwaniya with machboos on the floor, Kot Bo 6 on the cards, carrom in the corner. Saj bread. A bisht being fitted. A falcon let go at dawn.
Art for your diwaniya TV
A diwaniya TV is the biggest screen in the house and it is on all evening, so give it something worth looking at between the games. In Art Mode it shows one piece at a time and rotates on its own. What I would put up: the pearl diving dasha and the divers for the evenings, Al Ardah and the Gulf Road on National Day for February, Girgian in the middle of Ramadan, the desert camping pieces when the weather turns. Everything is 3840 × 2160, so it fills a 16:9 TV with no border.
A digital art gift from Kuwait
A collection is a gift you can send in a minute. Buy it, forward the download email, done. The licence allows it: put it on every screen you own, and send a piece to anyone who would like it. For someone who loves Kuwait, Dreamy Kuwait is the one. For someone who grew up here, Dreamy Kuwaiti Culture is the one that gets the longer silence.
On your phone
