LG TV art mode: putting your own art on an LG TV

A living room with Dreamy Beach art on the screens: Lanikai Beach on the television, Fteri Beach framed on the wall beside it, and Maya Bay on the open laptop

The short answer.

Newer LG TVs have one. LG calls it Gallery+, and it is on TVs from 2025 onward running webOS 25 or newer. LG's 2026 art TVs, the W6, the G6 and the Gallery TV, come with it.

You can bring your own pictures into it three ways: a USB stick, your phone through the LG ThinQ app, or a Google Photos album. That is LG's own list.

What Gallery+ costs

LG offers a free selection and a paid library of thousands of works. The paid library is renting LG's art. LG does not say whether your own pictures need the paid tier, so check on your TV before you pay for anything.

Way 1, a USB stick

Copy the art onto a stick, plug it into the TV, and add the pieces from the USB device in Gallery+.

Way 2, your phone

Save the pieces to your phone's photos and send them to the TV with the LG ThinQ app. The TV needs to be linked in ThinQ first.

Way 3, Google Photos

Link your Google Account on the TV, put the pieces in an album, and choose that album in Gallery+. Set your Google Photos to Original quality before anything uploads. Storage saver shrinks your files, and it cannot be undone afterwards. Original quality counts against your Google storage.

An older LG without Gallery+

Most older LGs can play photos from a USB stick. Your TV's manual names the photo app.

What size the art should be

A 4K LG is 3840 × 2160 pixels, 16:9. Art made at exactly that size matches the screen. Keep the brightness low if you want it to read like a painting.

Art made for it

Every piece I make is 3840 × 2160 PNG, 16:9. Every collection is signed, comes with a certificate and the story behind it, and downloads the moment you pay. The files are yours. Put them on every screen you own.
